But it is a very popular application and it played on my mind, so I went back to do some more research. Then I started to get very excited.

Microsoft OneNote is a powerful note taking and research application that allows you to create ‘notebooks'. Each notebook can be divided into sections and pages. You can also create sub-pages.

There are several sellers on Etsy that state their digital journals can be used in OneNote but it is not as simple as taking a pdf and importing it in. The hyper-linked tabs that are designed for GoodNotes and Notability don't work in OneNote. You need to do the hyper-linking inside OneNote itself.

Just importing a PDF brings the entire document in as a single page. This is no good because, there is no point in having the tabs on the planner if they don't work and the user has to scroll all over to find their pages.

Creating a planner for OneNote is a completely different process to creating one for GoodNotes or Notability.

Digital planner sales can only increase as more and more people switch from paper planners. Also there is the added advantage of being able to use as much color as you want without the high cost of color printing ink. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to diversify their book publishing business or get started on an Etsy business.
